TBC members were joyfully surprised when they entered a pleasantly cool worship hall when they came to worship yesterday (September 17, 2017). The Lord granted the long-time goal of the church, initially envisioned by Pastor Rodel and Pastor Alan. He used His people to give generously to the project. TBC deacons were conscientiously engaged in the planning, buying, and overseeing the work of enclosing the worship hall, and installing the air conditioning units.
With the enclosed worship hall, outside noise is now greatly minimized. With the physical element greatly improved, may it all the more lift up the hearts of God’s people for worship.
God be praised for our answered prayer!

Joy in thier faces: Trincy, Carlo and JR with Pastor Rodel and Pastor Allan
After the vesper service in TBC last Sunday (January 8) three applicants for membership (Jr, Trincy and Carlo) submitted themselves to a church interview.
They read their respective testimonies , after which, the members asked questions pertaining to their salvation. This is to ensure the genuineness of their faith in Christ. After about 30 minutes interview for each one of them, they were gladly accepted for membership.
Accepting three members is a shower of blessing for TBC, the first in 34 years. Praise be the Lord! May He bring more sheep into His fold.

Nanay Ludy went to be with the Lord on October 14, 2016 after almost 6 months of suffering from a debilitating illness. She was 73 years old. Nanay Ludy was a mother to 10 children and grandmother to 30 children.
The 5-day funeral wake was held at TBC building. Three evangelistic messages were preached and her children were given a chance to thank and honor their mother, whom they all praised for her love to…

Cleaning up has never been this fun. That was the feeling of those who participated in the clean-up day in the new TBC’s building. The sides of the church building and the hut where some construction workers stayed were cleared of debris left from the construction. The men put gravel on the ramp, flattened a mound of soil and lifted heavy stuff. The women swept away several sacks of garbage while some sisters cleaned the kitchen and bathroom of the chapel. After the clean-up, which lasted for less than two hours, the members gathered for prayer and merienda. God be praised for giving us a new church building.

The first Sunday of July is TBC Deacons’ Day. Thus, yesterday (July 6) after the Lord’s Supper, Deacons Ave, Arnold and Jojo were honored in a simple program. The children sang a song that captured the deacons’ faithful and selfless service to the church. Sisters Lena and Lyn directed the children in singing. Pastor Rodel emphasized that their service is indeed sacrificial considering that they don’t get compensation, and they all have full time jobs. The simple program was followed by gift-giving. Thanks be to God for TBC’s three deacons who are faithful, diligent and ready to serve.
